The Challenge

The Contract Chair Company (TC3) website is targeted towards designers and offers approximately 2,500 products. TC3 had a vision for a leading-edge e-commerce site that would allow designers to put together scrapbooks of their ideas and turn them into quotes. It was their belief that the designers needed to see as much product as possible at any time in order to easily assess the available options. These could then be subject to a huge range of further choices such as finishes, add-ons and delivery, which would result in a bespoke price for each user.

This was to be coupled with their very bespoke Salesforce system to support seamless interaction with their sales team.

The solution

TC3 chose KLOC as their development partner to bring their web and CRM aspirations to life. KLOC carried out a discovery exercise to fully understand every aspect of TC3’s requirements. They then followed an iterative agile development process to deliver a fully bespoke website that fulfilled their vision.

The results

TC3 now have an industry-leading website offering dynamic prices, fully updated daily. The site features a state-of-the-art product search facility and online scrapbooks for personal product management. The site is capable of intelligently displaying related products for any items chosen using intelligent background algorithms that considers and matches extensive variants in each product. This has given TC3 a real competitive advantage in their industry as they are able to offer customers features that are not available anywhere else.

In addition to this, seamless integration with Salesforce CRM, including auto-population of leads and complex quotes generated dynamically, has improved business efficiency and allowed them to easily keep track of all customer purchases.
